The four Chinese agencies identified as core partners of the ACEDP include: the National Development and Reform Commission; the Ministry of Environmental Protection; the Ministry of Water Resources; and the State Forestry Administration.
National Development and Reform Commission: The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) is a macroeconomic management agency under the State Council, which studies and formulates policies for economic and social development, maintains a balance of economic aggregates and guides the overall economic system restructuring.
Ministry of Environmental Protection:The Ministry of Environmental Protection prevents and controls environmental pollution, protects nature and ecology, supervises nuclear safety, safeguards public health and environmental safety, and promotes the harmony between man and nature.
