The governments of Australia and the Peoples Republic of China own the program, as well as determine its strategic direction. They are represented as AusAID, the Australian Agency of International Development and MOFCOM, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
The Australian Agency of International Development (AusAID): The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is the managing body for the Australian Government's overseas aid program; a federally funded program that aims to reduce poverty in developing countries.
Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM): The Ministry of Commerce is an executive agency of the State Council of China. It is responsible for formulating policy on foreign trade, export and import regulations, foreign direct investments, consumer protection, market competition and negotiating bilateral and multilateral trade agreements.
