According to our new procedures (see funding guidelines) that came into effect last year, the PCO, in collaboration with the EAT, will assess new proposals on a twice -yearly basis - in March/April and in September/October of each year. Our nine Program Core Partners in Australian and China will be invited to comment on proposals if they so desire.
The Timeline for our first round in the Year of the Ox is as follows:
Friday 13 March 2009
• Deadline for PCO assessment of proposals. Please note that any proposal that, in the view of the PCO requires more work, will automatically go into the next round in September/October.
• The PCO will send all assessed proposals to our 9 program core partners, inviting their comments
Friday 27 March 2009
• Deadline for receipt of comments from program core partners
Monday 30 March 2009
• PCO forwards proposals and consolidated assessments to the EAT for final appraisal and production of prioritised merit list
Thursday 9 April 2009
• EAT concludes its appraisal and submits to AusAID/MOFCOM a prioritised merit list for endorsement
Friday 24 April 2009
• AusAID provides the PCO with feedback from AusAID/MOFCOM
• PCO informs all applicants of the outcome
• Successful applicants are now requested to produce an Activity Design Document (ADD ) to ACEDP specifications
• Unsuccessful applicants are offered feedback / counseling
May 2009
• PCO includes approved proposal in Annual plan no 3 (AP-III) for tabling at HLRT-III in July
