High-level officials from NDRC and DCCEE made speeches about status of climate change adaption planning and measures in both countries and representatives from Ku-Ring-Gai Council introduced climate change adaptation practices at council level in Australia. This was followed by a presentation of the major project achievement, the guidelines on climate change adaptation planning for local governments. Representatives from the three pilot cities introduced what they had learned from the interactions with Australia counterparts during the study tour and what were their initial measures taken in dealing with climate change impact based on the local circumstances. Active questions and answers were conducted in both the morning and afternoon sessions. The workshop presentations and speeches will be summarized and composed to be the final technical output of the project.
