'Trans-Administrative Region Water Environment Policy / Guidelines' Project - A successful study tour to Australia was held from 16 - 25 April 2009. 11 participants from national and provincial level environmental agencies attended. Water Rights and Allocation Trading in the YellowRiver Basin - A field trip to the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission (YWCC) took place in July 2008 in conjunction with the Large Irrigation Management Activity to explore the merger of this activity with “Management for Large Irrigation Districts”. The participants of the field trip included AusAID, MOFCOM and PCO representatives.
Management for Large Irrigation Districts (YellowRiver Basin) Feasibility/Design Study - The China component of the feasibility/design study for the proposed 'Management for Large Irrigation Districts (Yellow River Basin)' Project was undertaken by a joint Chinese Australian expert team from June 5th to 16th 2008. It included a three-day field trip to Zhengzhou, Henan Province, the headquarters of the Yellow River Conservancy Commission.
